  • LDD Graded Meet, Sat May 23 @ Whitburn

We had a dozen swimmers competing in the LDD meet and most recorded new PBs in various 100m events.

Niamh M won a great gold medal in the back, just missing the Bronze Squad time by 0.5 secs.

Meagan took silver in the breast, having already won a 'too fast' medal in the free. And the girls relay team (Molly, Meagan, Niamh and Katie) collected bronze medals.

Megan B had a good day, making the finals of both back and breast and Rory made the fly final. Unsurprisingly, both of Meagan's swims were new 10 yrs old club records.

  • Hearts Novice, Sunday May 10 @ Musselburgh

We had two dozen swimmers and three coaches on poolside for the Hearts Novice, a really great turn-out and we saw some great swimming.

Isla and Ethan both were awarded in three different strokes, each collecting a gold, a bronze and a speeding ticket (for breaking the time band).

Sam collected a gold and a bronze, with Grace B and Thomas collecting a gold. Both Robyn and Rory got speeding tickets and Louise won a bronze.

To end a very exciting day, we were part of fantastic relay race and were just pipped by Kinross as we battled to hold off the host team. Silver medals for the whole team - Robyn, Sam, Isla, Ethan, Grace B + Thomas.

  • Lothian Leagues, Sun May 3 @ Whitburn

Change of venue due to the closure of Prestonpans and we had a full squad in attendance.

Robyn had a great morning, taking 2nd and 3rd in her two events. Grace C and Sam both finished 3rd and Meagan broke the time band in a great 100m IM. Meagan also broke one of our oldest girls club records for 10 yr olds.

In the afternoon, we had a number of 1st places for Gigi, Kittty, Rory V, Miko and Archie. Also, finally, Gigi broke a club record setting a new mark in the 200m free for 14 yr olds. Well done Gigi, a thoroughly deserved result.
